Custom Pools · Outdoor Living · Tulsa, Oklahoma
For most families, the backyard is where life actually happens. Still Waters Outdoor designs and builds pools and outdoor living spaces with thoughtful design, honest guidance, and craftsmanship built for Oklahoma seasons.
Why we build
Building a pool or outdoor living space is a big decision — budget, layout, permitting, and a construction season to plan around. It's easy to feel rushed or oversold.
Still Waters Outdoor brings design sense, construction know-how, and steady communication together so Tulsa homeowners can make confident decisions without the pressure.

Performance & comfort
Energy-efficient variable-speed pumps, salt systems, and smart pool automation are introduced with one purpose: a pool that's simple to run and comfortable to enjoy, season after season.
“We believe homeowners deserve more than a pool installer. They deserve a builder who treats their backyard like it matters — because for most families, it's where the memories actually happen.”

Common questions
More than anything, cost follows size, depth, and what surrounds the pool. A straightforward geometric pool with a concrete deck sits at one end; add a spa, a tanning ledge, a rock waterfall, an outdoor kitchen, fencing, and landscape lighting and you're at the other. Site conditions matter too — rock, slope, and access for equipment can all move the number before a shovel goes in the ground. We'd rather walk your yard and give you an itemized bid than quote a range that turns out not to fit your project.
Design and permitting usually run several weeks before construction starts, and construction itself typically spans a few months depending on scope. Weather is the biggest variable in Oklahoma — a wet spring can stall excavation and concrete work for weeks at a time. We sequence the trades and keep you updated as dates move, rather than promising a finish date the weather gets to veto.
Yes. Engineering, permitting, and inspections are part of the process we manage, and they're accounted for in your bid before construction begins. Requirements vary between Tulsa and the surrounding municipalities, and barrier and fencing codes in particular are worth understanding early — they affect layout decisions you'd rather make on paper than after the pool is in.
Earlier than most people expect. Between design, engineering, permitting, and the build itself, a summer swim date generally means starting conversations in late fall or winter. Fall and winter are genuinely good times to plan — schedules are more open, and you're making design decisions without a deadline breathing down your neck.
We do. Outdoor kitchens, covered patios, pergolas, fire features, and hardscape are a real part of what we build, whether or not there's a pool in the plan. Plenty of backyards get more use out of a well-designed cooking and gathering space than anything else we could put in them.
Tulsa and the surrounding communities — Broken Arrow, Jenks, Bixby, Owasso, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, Coweta, Catoosa, Glenpool, and the areas in between. If you're a little outside that and thinking about a project, reach out anyway and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
We handle equipment startup and water balancing, then walk you through running your own pool — the pump schedule, the salt system or chlorinator, what to watch through the season, and how to close it down for an Oklahoma winter. The goal is that you finish the walkthrough knowing how your backyard actually works, not holding a stack of manuals.
Begin thoughtfully
Whether you're exploring a new pool, planning an outdoor kitchen, or updating an existing backyard, we'd love to hear where you are in the process. We build throughout Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Bixby, Owasso, Sand Springs, Sapulpa and the surrounding communities.
